It was an ironic moment. We were exiting the Repertory Theatre after seeing the splendid show, "Million Dollar Quartet." The show centers on an impromptu gathering of early rock 'n' rollers, 20-somethings Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis at Sun Records in Memphis in 1956.

Touching Base With Euclid Matriarch Karen Duffy

Forty-one years of running an iconic Central West End restaurant earned Karen Duffy something of a reputation as the matriarch of Euclid Avenue. Duff's, 392 N. Euclid, closed its doors in 2013. A restaurant called The Tavern now occupies the space.
