The Kirkwood Early Childhood Center (KECC) was awarded a $3,000 grant from St. Anthony's Medical Center.
The grant will be put toward KECC's Parents As Teacher's (PAT) program and will secure quality guests and support for the PAT Speaker's Series program. The 2011-2012 Speaker's Series will feature topics such as love and logic, toilet training, sleep issues and nutrition.
The PAT program also provides services such as parent education visits in the home, group meetings, developmental screenings and parent training.
St. Anthony's Medical Center is committed to providing community support through in-kind services, donations and scholarships. This is the third year in a row KECC has received a grant from St. Anthony's Medical Center.
