I love my school because we have so much technology, the teachers are loving and understanding, the parish activities are thrilling, and I love religion. The kids here are generous, compassionate and caring.

Technology Is Fun

Technology is so cool. It's amazing how many things people have invented over the years. Our iPads are fun and much easier to learn with. We also have a classroom called the S.T.E.M. Lab. (S.T.E.M. stands for science, technology, engineering and math.) The S.T.E.M. Lab is high tech. It has Legos, cool chairs and lots of tools to help us learn. We raised money in our auction to pay for it and it looks amazing! My class is finishing our coding class before we program the Legos in the S.T.E.M. Lab.

Amazing Teachers

The teachers at St. Catherine Laboure are thrilling! They are the nicest people I have ever met (besides my family). If there is the littlest problem, they will fix it (especially Mrs. Koch in the office). The teachers make things fun. In my class, we do Minute To Win It every Friday. We have aides who are helpful to the teachers.

Fun Parish

The parish is fun. Fr. Jim and Fr. Charlie are the nicest priests. They greet us in the morning and come to parish activities such as Social Saturday, SCL Stock, the adult volleyball tournament and more. Anyone can come to these events, even if you don't belong to the parish.

Religion

Religion made me have a purpose in my life. I have devoted my life to following Jesus and being a better person. Since I am in fourth grade, I can receive the body and blood of Christ, which is so amazing. I actually get to have Jesus in me.

Subjects

The subjects are amazing. Since August, I have learned to count from 0 to 10,000 in Spanish class. This year I am learning to play a recorder in music class. It is an undertaking, but fun. In art class, I get a break in the day where I get to relax and create.

St. Catherine Laboure is not one of the best schools, it is THE best school!
