The Kirkwood School District recently recognized several support staff members in various categories as "Support Services Employee of the Year."
The winners from each category are:
• Custodial: B.J. Jones, custodian at Tillman Elementary School;
• Assistant: Jill Hanrahan, classroom assistant at Westchester Elementary School;
• Maintenance: Jimmy Hendrickson, carpenter for the district's buildings and grounds; • Special Staff: Kari Kopp, nurse at Keysor Elementary School;
• Technical Support: Eric Zigler, technology specialist at Kirkwood High School;
• Office Personnel: Judy Suchanek, executive secretary at the Administrative Services Center.
The Support Services Awards recognize support staff members who have achieved an outstanding level of professionalism in their roles. Awardees are nominated by their colleagues for this recognition.
