Stages St. Louis kicks off its 26th season with the Tony Award-winning musical revue, "Ain't Misbehavin,'" June 1 through July 1.

The Fats Waller musical explores the groundbreaking time of the Harlem cultural renaissance in the 1930s and 1940s. Travel back in time to the age of the Cotton Club, honky tonk dives, stride piano players and that jumpin' "new" beat- swing.

These songs will be performed by the talents of Dwelvan David, Wendy Lynette Fox, Raena White, and St. Louis natives, Willena Vaughn and Eric LaJuan Summers.

A band of seven talented local musicians led by Adaron "Pops" Jackson will fill the Robert G. Reim Theatre with the incomparable songs of Thomas "Fats" Waller. "Pops," as he is affectionately known, is one of St. Louis' most in-demand jazz pianists having toured with the Grammy Award-winning Temptations.

Throughout the evening, the set will be illuminated with a rainbow of colored lights!

Stages performs in Kirkwood Community Center's Robert Reim Theatre, 111 S. Geyer Road. Ticket prices range from $15 to $55. For tickets and showtimes, visit or call the Box Office at 821-2407.
